How many questions are on the NCLEX-RN?
The NCLEX-RN is a computer-adaptive test (CAT) of 85 to 150 questions, with up to 5 hours to finish. It stops as soon as it is 95% confident your ability is above or below the passing standard, so question counts vary by student.
What is a passing score on the NCLEX-RN?
There is no percentage score. You pass by demonstrating, with 95% confidence, that your ability is above the NCSBN passing standard. You either pass or you do not.
